hey :) <3

Okay so I’ve noticed quite a lot of my friends have started using Tumblr, or already did before I met them. As I havn’t posted for months (sorry to my 85 followers) I thought I’d post something, possibly for the last time. It’s something I wrote off the top of my head, which changed my life.

So here it is -

We’re so small in the universe, so incredibly insignificant it’s hard to understand. Life is too short to waste you time on those who don’t give back, to regret past mistakes. Take every opportunity you can, pursue happiness. We’re just made of atoms, that’s all we are. Say those things that are burning in your throat, don’t let your fears hold you back. This is your life. Shape it. If you don’t take risks you’ll never be 100 per cent sure of yourself. I can guarantee you’ll feel better for it.

Who the hell made you the boss? If you say what to do, I know what not to stop. If you were the ship who would ever get on?

Deez Nuts - Love Hate

“Love yourself, your friends, your family, love where you’re at but fight for where you wanna be. Hate anybody who wont show you respect, just remember only give what you get.”

So it’s been a week since my laptops has been away, I never realised how essential music is to my life. Not having my iTunes was murder. I had to survive off YouTube on my phone and what little amount of CDs I have, I used to have a huge collection but sadly most are lost. Though something good did come out of it all; I found a mix CD I made years ago and heard some songs from artists I’d completely forgotten about after the great hard disk wiping of ‘03! For example The Beautiful Mistake.

After checking my Tumblr it seems everyone went mental for the Intepol song I posted (Obstacle 1), 65 notes and 261 listens! You all have very pretty taste :-)

This is how I spent my Friday the 13th, at least part of it.

…with their hurdy-gurdy show bands and their leaky-eyed, pissed-up, violent lovelessness, worshipping a sexless cow with her chest hacked open.

Interpol - Obstacle 1

This has quite a melancholic feel to it but it’s also serene in it’s composition.
